Orlando Espinosa
Orlando Espinosa was the first National Spokesperson for Sallie Mae’s “On the road: Paying for College Tour” in 2004, 2005 & 2006. He was also part of The Sallie Mae Fund’s Latino-focused higher education outreach initiatives and long-time “Paying for College” workshop presenter. Orlando spearheaded development of the first comprehensive Spanish-first, bilingual loan and outreach program for post-secondary education in the United States. He’s been a leadership advisor for ASPIRA of Florida, Inc. and a recruitment officer for the Miami Institute of Psychology and taught leadership while abroad with a class from Nova Southeastern University. Scott Tubbs
Scott Tubbs completed an international tour of duty in the United States Air Force, attended and graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a Bachelor’s in business Administration (BBA), while pursuing a full-time career with Sallie Mae, Inc. Notable roles included supporting (IT) a proprietary PC and Internet-based loan origination platform that provided online access to loan information for students and colleges administrators; earning a prestigious “Deal of the Year” award for the largest account (win); leading a sales team, to rocket growth 200% in a declining market, increasing sales $100 million. His passion for technology and unique vision for innovation continues to be a driving force for him today.
